JUNGSHIN TAEKWON-DO KIDS TOURNAMENT 2026

Time: 8.45am form up, 9am start
Ages: 14 years and under

Max 40 competitors! The first 40 registered get to compete,
after that you miss out.
PATTERNS – Round robin style, each person will get 2 rounds against people in their group, 2 patterns per round (or for the mini kids there will be basic movements performed if they don’t know any patterns).
SPARRING – Round robin style, each person will get 2 rounds against people in their group, each bout will be two rounds of between 1 and 2 minutes each (depending on age group/ rank). Each group will be paired with people of similar size, age and rank wherever possible. Touch contact rules apply and will be strictly enforced.
POWER PUNCH – Each person will take a turn to punch a pad as far as they can.
This is a fun event organised to give kids an introduction to tournaments.
There will be no medals given to winners of each division, instead each participant will receive an item to remind them of the tournament.

(Entry fee paid prior to the event - bank account details will be emailed
to you when your entry has been received/ confirmed)
What to wear:

A Clear Mouthguard is compulsory for sparring. These can be pre ordered on your entry form if you want one (they are $15 each).

Some sparring gear will be provided if you don't have your own (there is only limited amounts of sparring gear available).

Groin guards are compulsory for sparring if boys are aged 9 and over, they are optional for 8 Years and under.

Officials are required to make this tournament run smoothly and quickly so please help out where you can (parents are welcome to help out).
